OpenAI plans to retire several GPT models in ChatGPT

OpenAI has announced its intention to retire several GPT models from ChatGPT starting February 13, 2026. The affected models are GPT-4o, GPT-4.1, GPT-4.1 mini, and OpenAI o4-mini.

This decision follows the previous announcement regarding the retirement of GPT-5 in its Instant, Thinking, and Pro variants. Currently, there are no planned changes regarding access to these models via API.
