New documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice shed new light on the relationship between Elon Musk and Jeffrey Epstein.

The Incriminating Emails

The emails, dating back to 2012 and 2013, show a correspondence between Musk and Epstein discussing potential visits to Epstein's private island. In an email from November 2012, Musk asks: "What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?".

Previously, Musk had denied planning trips to Epstein's island, but these emails appear to contradict those claims. The documents also reveal that Epstein had asked Musk if SolarCity, his solar power startup later merged into Tesla, could electrify the island or his ranch in New Mexico.

Electrification Requests

In an email from December 2013, Musk writes: "Will be in the BVI [British Virgin Islands]/St Bart's area over the holidays. Is there a good time to visit?". Epstein responds by offering a helicopter for transportation. In another email, Musk asks Epstein when would be the best time to go to his island.

Epstein had also asked Musk for information on how to electrify his properties: "Is there any one at Solar City that my guys can talk to about electrifying the caribean [sic] island? Or the New Mexico ranch?", Epstein asks. Musk responds by adding a colleague to the conversation.

These revelations come at a delicate time, when prominent figures like Musk and Donald Trump seem immune to political scandals. However, the emails demonstrate that Musk has lied about his relationship with Epstein, a fact that deserves to be documented.
