Google Stitch: UI design via voice command
Google has announced Stitch, a design tool that allows users to create user interfaces (UI) via voice input. The company calls this approach "vibe design", adapting a term already in use to describe the use of AI assistants in code generation.
Stitch integrates an infinite canvas, offering an expansive workspace for design. The goal is to make UI development more intuitive, allowing designers to express their vision through voice. However, Google recognizes that the code produced may require further intervention to be production-ready.
For those evaluating on-premise deployments, there are trade-offs to consider. AI-RADAR offers analytical frameworks on /llm-onpremise to evaluate these aspects.
