Performance Tests of the Intel Arc B390 GPU on Linux
Extensive benchmarks have been conducted on the performance of the Intel Arc B390 Xe3 GPU, integrated into Core Ultra X7 358H (Panther Lake) processors, using the open-source Intel Compute Runtime on Linux. Initial results indicate good GPU operation with Intel's open-source driver stack, although some differences remain compared to performance on Windows.
Focus on OpenCL and GPU Compute
After initial tests focused on OpenGL and Vulkan, attention shifted to OpenCL capabilities and GPU compute. The goal is to evaluate the performance of the Xe3 Panther Lake GPU with the latest version of Compute Runtime, comparing it with previous generations of Intel GPUs and AMD Ryzen AI solutions.
