KDE Plasma 6.7 introduces 3D LUT support

KDE developers are busy developing the next release of Plasma 6.7, while continuing to work on minor updates for version 6.6.

One of the most interesting new features coming with Plasma 6.7 is the addition of support for 3D LUTs (Look-Up Tables) within KWin, Plasma's window manager. 3D LUTs are correspondence tables that allow colors to be transformed precisely, improving color calibration and visual fidelity.

This feature is particularly relevant for modern GPUs, which offer advanced color processing capabilities. The integration of 3D LUTs in KWin will allow users to take full advantage of these capabilities, obtaining a more accurate and personalized color rendering.
