Nemotron Cascade 2 30B-A3B, a model that is not based on the Qwen architecture despite its similar size, is attracting attention for its performance.

Preliminary Performance

Early results, obtained with IQ4_XS quantization, are promising. On HumanEval, Nemotron Cascade 2 achieved a score of 97.6%, surpassing medium-sized Qwen3.5 models. The model also achieved a remarkable result on ClassEval, with a score of 88%.

Architecture

Unlike other models of comparable size, Nemotron Cascade 2 uses a proprietary hybrid architecture. This design choice may be the basis for its superior performance in certain benchmarks. Further tests are underway to fully evaluate the model's capabilities.
