Scoro, a project management platform founded in Estonia, has announced the acquisition of Envoice, an Estonian company specializing in AI-driven expense and bill management.

Integration for Cost Visibility

The main goal of the acquisition is to bridge the cost visibility gap in projects. Traditionally, professional services firms manage time and costs in separate systems, creating information silos. This fragmentation often forces businesses to rely on month-end reports to understand their margins.

By combining Scoro's capabilities in managing projects, budgets, time, and resources with Envoice's capabilities in controlling expenses, companies can gain a more complete and real-time view of project costs. This helps avoid month-end surprises that could negatively impact profits.

Combined Functionalities

The acquisition brings together Scoro's comprehensive project management capabilities with Envoice's AI-powered bill and expense automation. While Scoro and Envoice will continue to operate as separate products, together they offer professional services firms a more efficient way to manage project-related expenses, with real-time insights into profitability. Integration between the two products is already live.

Receipts are automatically linked to both projects and purchase orders at the point of capture, making project cost reporting faster and more reliable. Further enhancements will be rolled out over the next two months to fully automate data exchange.
