Introduction
Google has finally taken action against the two popular YouTube channels, Screen Culture and KH Studio, which attracted millions of subscribers with AI-generated movie trailers. The problem emerged when other creators started complaining about their rapid popularity at the time of artificial intelligence.
The channels produced videos with titles such as "GTA: San Andreas (2025) Teaser Trailer" and "Malcom In The Middle Reboot (2025) First Trailer", which do not exist. However, despite the disclaimer statements that creators were obligated to use, many of the most popular recent videos published by the channels overlooked these statements.
The channels were demonetized in 2025, forcing the creators to re-publish their content with greater transparency. However, the creators did not follow the rules, leading YouTube to shut down the channels.
Technical context
The issue of creative use with artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly central in the world of social media. Many creators have been attracted by the possibilities offered by AI models, which can generate content quickly and efficiently.
However, as the case of the Screen Culture and KH Studio channels, it's essential to ensure that creators use these technologies responsibly and transparently. Social media should be a platform for creativity and innovation, but also for truth and credibility.
