London-based Allocation Strategy has announced that it has raised ยฃ1.6 million in a funding round led by Fuel Ventures, with participation from angel investors and industry experts. ## Asset allocation and analysis The company develops analytics tools to support asset allocation and investment decisions. The platform is designed to provide a more comprehensive and reliable analytics framework for portfolio construction and risk assessment, supporting key asset allocation workflows, including capital market assumptions, portfolio optimization, macro risk analysis, scenario modelling, and model portfolios. The goal is to help institutional investors better assess risk and return trade-offs. ## Founders and future plans Allocation Strategy was founded by Pavol Povala, Drew Barnden, and Michael Chin, who bring extensive experience in developing and operating asset allocation analytics at scale. The new capital will be used to scale the business, expand research and development, and accelerate the rollout of new solutions for institutional investors. In a context of increasing complexity in financial markets, tools such as those developed by Allocation Strategy are becoming increasingly important to enable investors to make informed decisions and effectively manage risks. The ability to link portfolio decisions with underlying macroeconomic drivers is crucial for successfully navigating market turbulence.
