London-based deeptech company BeyondMath has announced $18.5 million in funding to enhance its generative physics model based on artificial intelligence.
Accelerated Simulations for Engineering
The company aims to address the challenges faced by engineering and industrial companies in designing complex systems, often limited by outdated simulation tools. BeyondMath's platform promises to produce engineering-grade simulations in minutes, delivering results up to 1,000 times faster than traditional supercomputing methods.
A Foundational Model for Physics
Founded in 2022, BeyondMath has developed an AI model trained directly on first-principles physics. This model is capable of simulating complex physical phenomena, from aerodynamics to thermal management. The company's customers include major manufacturers in the automotive, aerospace, and electronics sectors, and it has established partnerships with NVIDIA and AWS.
Expansion and Commercial Adoption
The new funding will be used to scale the commercial deployment of BeyondMath's technology and to expand its research capabilities. The company expects to double its headcount this year and expand its customer base in Europe, the United States, and Japan.
