CERN: Custom AI in silicio for data analysis
CERN is developing custom AI chips, integrated directly into silicio, to handle the enormous data flow generated by its scientific experiments. This approach differs from the use of generic GPUs or TPUs, as it allows optimizing data processing at the nanosecond level, eliminating superfluous information.
