## Chatbots and Insurance: A Real Time Saver? A recent experiment conducted by Dakota State University, in partnership with regional insurance carrier Safety Insurance, assessed the effectiveness of an AI-powered chatbot, named "Axlerod," in supporting independent insurance agents. The study's findings indicate that using the chatbot could save agents approximately 3 minutes per day. However, the small amount of time saved raises questions about the actual economic benefit of implementing such tools.
