Hiding Google's AI Overviews

Google has integrated AI Overviews, AI-generated summaries, directly into search results. While these summaries may be helpful for some users, others may prefer to see traditional search results.

There are two main methods to exclude AI Overviews from search results:

  • Modify the search query: In some cases, rephrasing the question can prevent Google from generating an AI Overview.
  • Use an alternative search engine: Several search engines do not integrate AI-generated summaries and offer a more traditional search experience.

The choice of method depends on individual preferences and how often you want to avoid AI Overviews.
