Galtea, a provider of AI evaluation infrastructure, has announced $3.2 million in seed funding. This investment aims to enhance its platform for generating high-quality test scenarios specifically designed for generative AI agents.
Goal: Reduce Testing Delays
The funding, led by 42CAP with participation from Mozilla Ventures and other investors, brings Galtea's total funding to $4.1 million. The company focuses on a crucial problem in the adoption of generative AI: the difficulty of obtaining reliable and affordable test data.
Many companies struggle to move from development to production due to the cost and complexity of testing. Galtea aims to simplify this process by providing structured and scalable test scenarios that allow for the evaluation of performance, accuracy, and security before deployment.
Continuous Testing and Custom Metrics
Galtea's platform offers continuous and dynamic testing, as well as customized evaluation metrics. This allows enterprise teams to evaluate and improve their AI agents. The solution is already used in various sectors, and the company has introduced a self-service offering, including a free trial, to broaden access for developers.
Jorge Palomar, co-founder and CEO of Galtea, emphasized how limited access to sufficient and cost-effective test data continues to slow down AI deployment. Galtea's platform, according to the company, can reduce the costs and time associated with AI validation through automated scenario generation, supporting more efficient development workflows.
The funds raised will be used to expand Galtea's engineering and commercial teams and to further develop the platform, with the aim of making rigorous AI testing more accessible to developers globally.
