Gemini integrates with mobile apps
Google has unveiled a new Gemini feature that allows automating tasks within mobile applications. The feature will debut with the Samsung Galaxy S26, offering deeper integration between the AI assistant and popular apps.
During a demonstration, it was shown how Gemini can be used to book an Uber ride or order a meal on DoorDash, all via voice or text commands. The goal is to simplify and speed up interaction with these services, making the user experience more fluid.
This integration represents a step forward in the evolution of AI assistants, which are becoming increasingly capable of handling complex tasks within a diverse application ecosystem.
