Barcelona-based startup Health Lean Analytics (HLA) has secured €2.1 million in funding. This includes a €1.4 million seed round from family offices such as Inderhabs, Namarel, and Braincats, as well as a loan from ENISA (Empresa Nacional de Innovación), a Spanish public entity.

Automation and AI for Hospital Efficiency

HLA specializes in automating data collection in hospital environments. The goal is to reduce errors, free up valuable time for clinical staff, and improve the quality, safety, and sustainability of patient care. HLA's solutions are based on data automation, IoT, advanced analytics, and AI, with a specific focus on the operating room, one of the most complex and critical environments within a hospital.

The HLA platform passively and automatically captures clinical and operational data in real time, without manual intervention. It integrates with existing hospital systems, unifying key data on patients, surgical materials, medications, operating room usage, and resource management.

Integration with Novanta

Novanta, a company specializing in advanced technologies, has joined HLA as a strategic partner. Novanta's expertise in the medical sector and access to the US market will support HLA's growth and the validation of its technology. A Novanta representative will join HLA's board of directors.

The funds raised will be used to accelerate the company's international expansion, with the United States as the first strategic market, and to strengthen its R&D capabilities.
