Newly, formerly known as Natively, has announced over $2 million in funding to expand its native app development platform.
Simplifying Native App Development
Newly's primary goal is to bridge the gap between web development, made more accessible by artificial intelligence, and native app development for iOS and Android, which remains complex and requires specialized skills. Newly's platform combines agentic AI systems with advanced mobile-native tooling, enabling teams to transform an idea into an App Store-ready application faster and at a lower cost than traditional approaches.
Reducing Development Times
According to Timothy Lindblom, founder and CEO of Newly, the platform reduces development times "from months to hours", facilitating the transition from ideation to execution. The company plans to use the new funding to further develop its platform and expand beyond mobile, including desktop software, augmented reality experiences, and wearable applications.
