Nvidia bets on CoreWeave for AI expansion

Nvidia has announced a $2 billion investment in CoreWeave, a cloud infrastructure provider specializing in accelerated computing solutions for artificial intelligence workloads. The main goal of this investment is to support CoreWeave in adding 5 GW of compute capacity dedicated to AI.

Integration of new Nvidia architectures

The agreement between the two companies also includes close technological collaboration. CoreWeave will integrate Nvidia products, including future architectures such as the new Rubin architecture, within its platform. This will allow CoreWeave's customers to benefit from the latest Nvidia innovations in hardware acceleration for AI.

For those evaluating on-premise deployments, there are trade-offs to consider carefully. AI-RADAR offers analytical frameworks on /llm-onpremise to evaluate these aspects.
