Nvidia has released PersonaPlex, an open-source conversational AI model designed for real-time interactions. This full-duplex system enables smooth two-way communication, simulating natural conversations.

PersonaPlex offers persona control through text-based prompts, allowing users to define the role and characteristics of the virtual character. Audio-based voice conditioning allows for further customization of the model's voice. Trained on a vast dataset of both synthetic and real conversations, PersonaPlex generates low-latency spoken interactions, maintaining a consistent persona throughout the conversation.
