OpenUp, an Amsterdam-based startup, has announced a €20 million funding round to scale its employee mental health platform.
Direct and Anonymous Access
The platform offers employees direct and anonymous access to professionals such as psychologists, lifestyle experts, and financial counselors, all through their employer. This approach aims to simplify access to psychological support, often hindered by long waiting times and bureaucratic procedures.
European Expansion
Currently, OpenUp serves more than 2,000 organizations across five European markets. The new funding, led by Smartfin and with the return of Rubio Impact Ventures, will be used to further expand the company's presence on the continent. The goal is to make mental health support more accessible and timely for a greater number of employees.
