Replit reaches record valuation

Replit, the cloud-based collaborative development platform, has announced a new $400 million funding round, bringing its valuation to $9 billion. This milestone comes just six months after the previous capital increase that valued the company at $3 billion.

The company stated that it aims to reach an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $1 billion by the end of the year. This figure testifies to the rapid growth and adoption of the platform by developers.

Replit positions itself as an accessible and collaborative integrated development environment (IDE), allowing developers to write, run, and share code directly from the browser. The platform aims to simplify the development process and make it more accessible to a wider audience.
