## Artificial Intelligence: a widespread desire, a complex reality Enterprise interest in artificial intelligence (AI) has never been higher. Boards are asking for it. Business units are piloting it. Data science teams are experimenting with models at speed. However, this effervescence often clashes with the difficulty of translating these efforts into tangible and scalable results. The main problem lies in the failure to build a solid and complete infrastructure, comparable to an inadequate runway for pilot projects to take off. Without an adequate base, AI initiatives risk remaining confined to a perpetual experimentation phase, unable to generate real value for the company. To overcome this impasse, it is essential that companies adopt a strategic and holistic approach to AI implementation, investing not only in model development, but also in creating a supporting ecosystem that includes adequate infrastructure, skills and processes. Only in this way will it be possible to transform ambition into production and fully exploit the transformative potential of AI.
