## Zanskar invests in geothermal energy Zanskar has announced that it has raised $115 million with the goal of identifying and developing geothermal resources in the U.S. West. The company estimates that these resources could generate up to 1 TW of power, contributing significantly to powering the electrical grid. Geothermal energy represents a renewable and constant source, unlike other sources such as wind or solar, which depend on atmospheric conditions. The exploitation of these resources could therefore guarantee a more stable and reliable energy supply. ## The potential of geothermal energy Geothermal energy harnesses heat from within the Earth.
