AMD has officially launched its Ryzen AI 400 and PRO 400 chips for the desktop market, after teasing them at CES 2026. The announcement coincided with the Mobile World Congress 2026, an event focused on telecommunications and commercial client solutions.

These new processors are designed to bring artificial intelligence capabilities directly to desktop PCs, enabling inference workloads to be executed locally. This approach can offer advantages in terms of latency, privacy, and data security, as data does not need to be sent to the cloud for processing.
