Intel XeSS 3: Frame Generation for Everyone

Intel has released new graphics drivers that enable XeSS 3 Multi-Frame Generation (MFG) technology. This implementation allows for improved graphics performance in supported games, leveraging 2x, 3x, and 4x frame generation modes.

The main feature of XeSS 3 MFG is its backward compatibility: it works with titles that already support XeSS 2, without the need for patches or updates from developers. This simplifies the adoption of the technology and extends its availability to a vast catalog of games.

The implementation of XeSS 3 in Intel drivers extends frame generation to both dedicated Arc GPUs and iGPUs integrated into Core Ultra processors, potentially offering performance improvements even on less powerful systems.
