Data analytics at the service of women's football

The Football Association (FA) has partnered with Google Cloud to refine the performance of the women's national team, nicknamed "Lionesses". The initiative leverages data analytics to optimize various aspects, from player selection to the development of their skills, through training planning and improvement of on-field performance.

The goal is to provide the technical team with advanced tools to make more informed decisions, based on concrete evidence. This approach allows to personalize training programs, identify the strengths and weaknesses of individual athletes, and develop more effective game strategies.

The use of cloud platforms also allows to manage large volumes of data efficiently and securely, ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information relating to the players.
