PaperShell aims for expansion with EU funds
PaperShell, a Swedish company specializing in innovative materials, has signed an agreement with the European Commission under the EU Innovation Fund, securing €40.3 million. This funding is part of a larger €83 million project aimed at expanding the Tibro plant in Sweden.
The goal is to reach a production capacity of 23,000 tonnes per year by 2030. The material developed by PaperShell has already obtained NATO approval and is currently supplied to customers in the construction, defence, electronics and transport sectors.
