## HOLYWATER secures $22 million Ukraine-based HOLYWATER, a technology company in the mobile entertainment sector, has announced a $22 million financing round led by Horizon Capital, with participation from US-based investors including Endeavor Catalyst and Wheelhouse. This financing follows an earlier investment from Fox Entertainment in October 2025. ## Focus on AI and vertical content HOLYWATER applies AI to content creation and distribution. Its portfolio includes digital platforms such as My Drama (vertical streaming), My Passion (digital books), My Muse (AI-assisted vertical series), and Freebits (ad-supported streaming service). The flagship app, My Drama, received the People’s Voice award for Best Streaming Service at the 2025 Webby Awards. ## Future plans Co-founders Bogdan Nesvit and Anatolii Kasianov stated that the funding will support the development of the vertical video streaming platform and the expansion of the AI-driven content ecosystem, exploring formats such as comics and animation. The company aims to strengthen its IP development and distribution capabilities. The market for vertical content, particularly for mobile devices, is experiencing strong growth, with increasing adoption of this format for storytelling across various genres.
