Stockholm-based Noru has announced a €560,000 (SEK6 million) pre-seed funding round led by Ampli Ventures, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz Scout Fund, SSE Business Lab, DHS, and several Nordic investors, including Mark Strande, CISO at Miro.
Founded six months ago by Bip Thelin and Therese Ruth, Noru is developing an "agentic compliance" platform for managing regulatory requirements. The platform connects directly to company systems via APIs, embedding compliance into workflows and automating continuous monitoring, replacing manual processes.
Compliance Integration
Noru aims to integrate compliance directly into development and operational processes, as regulatory requirements such as ISO certifications, SOC standards, and the upcoming EU AI Act become increasingly important for enterprise sales. The goal is to transform compliance from a barrier to an enabler.
The company has already onboarded around twenty paying customers during its pilot phase, supporting them in achieving several security certifications. The raised funds will be used to expand the customer base and hire in engineering and marketing.
