Oska Health, a company offering a hybrid care model combining personal health coaches with artificial intelligence, has announced a funding round of €11 million. The goal is to scale its continuous care model dedicated to high-risk, chronically ill patients.

Addressing the challenges of chronic diseases

Chronic diseases present a significant challenge for healthcare systems globally. Oska Health aims to address gaps in care through personalized digital support between medical appointments, focusing on patients with multiple chronic conditions such as chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and hypertension.

Personalized support and AI

Oska Health's model combines human support with AI-enabled deliveries to assist patients at scale. Certified health coaches provide continuous support via video calls, chat, and a dedicated app, helping patients with questions related to nutrition, physical activity, and medication. The goal is to translate physicians' recommendations into everyday practice, strengthen health literacy, and reduce complications and avoidable hospitalizations.

Expansion of AI infrastructure

The new capital will be used to accelerate the expansion of Oska Health's AI-powered care infrastructure, which supports care teams and chronically ill patients for over three years. The company aims to improve the effectiveness of chronic care through daily habits supported by technology.
